Build castles
• Manage the economy food variety, wood, stone, taxation, structure upgrades and more.
• Build defenses falling rock traps, wall towers, firebraziers and more.
• Command your forces move units freely across the map, like in traditional RTS games.
Attack your opponent's castle
• Using siege equipmentsuch as catapults, ballista’s and siegetowers.
• Using magical creatures, including wizards.
Inspired by Stronghold: Legends

Building on the lessons learned from my previous game Open The Gates! (2022)
• Players liked the core gameplay loop (building, defending, attacking)
• Players disliked the repetitivenessdue to the lack of mechanics. Essentially, they wanted more to do.
• Realms of Madness provides a much more complete and polished product over Open The Gates! (2022).
Control mythical creatures
Five layers of combat
• The game area is split into five layers. Each layer can be individually contested during the game.
• A player may decide to invest heavily into flying units, thereby leaving the seas open to the opponent for exploitation.
Play across five chaotic Realms, each with its own substory in a larger narrative.
• Each Realm has a fully voice acted character acting as an antagonist.
• All realms have a distinct atmosphere achieved through music composed specifically for this game.
Meta Progression
• Players will unlock points upon completing a level.
• Points unlock new mechanics on the tech tree allowing players to tailor their experience to their preferences.
